How to edit or delete a progress note
There are two ways to edit or delete a progress note from within a patient's record. Note that admins only have the ability to edit or delete notes that they created.
From the note summary page
Select the three dots to access the drown down menu, then select Edit or Delete.
From the individual note page
Step 1: Select the note you would like to edit or delete (example: Session Note, April 9, 2019).
Step 2: Select Edit or Delete.
Editing or deleting signed notes
- Progress notes that have been locked and signed cannot be edited or modified.
- Signed notes can be deleted, but a record of the deletion will be retained and displayed on the patient’s note summary view.
- Note: The record of the note is not retained if the note is deleted after being saved (but before being signed).
